Nestled in northwest Cedar County where the Ozark Foothills meet the Kansas Prairie is the charming community of El Dorado Springs. It's also known by other names as well. Many shorten the name to "El Do" and it's also been called "The City of Gold," "The Wonder City" and "Spring City." El Dorado Springs is the largest community in Cedar County, hosting around 3,600 "down-home, friendly" folks.
